Boys vs Girls [KOF]

I was hoping to illustrate a classic Kof team battle between Women's team and the classic Fatal Fury guys.

When thinking of my favourite match, Mai was the first one of course, but it was hard to think who she would actually beat in a real fight. I wanted her to beat Terry, but I don't think she might be able to really do it. I imagined Mai could kick Joe Higashi's ass properly, and that's what I tried to depict here.

In this scene, I wanted to capture right the moment when Joe missed his s pecial attack and Mai appears right behind to perform his special desperation move. I can't remember exactly the name I wrote in kanji by then. On the lower-left corner you can see King and Yuri cheering up Mai to use her chance and win, while the Bogard brothers are trying to let Joe know he is in big trouble.

it is an attempt to make more dynamic works than usual. Poses and moves are a bit hard for me, but I will keep practicing to improve.
