Troubles finding suitable materials

I've been working with graphite for a long time, and you surely have been able to see some of those works. The problem is people in my country seems to like couloured artworks... mainly oil paintings.. but unfortunately I have a limited notion of these works... I've been trying with sanguine pencil (that orange coloured pencil used for drawings) but I haven't found any stuff to combine them with this pencil. I would like to make coloured portraits avoiding oil painting by now, Mainly due to time. HAve you worked with coloured pencils? are they suitable for Sanguine? (oil base sanguine) I'd like to receive some help please!! see you!
